A Grantec smart cabinet is a standard floor-standing cabinet with a monitoring and management layer built in. A touchscreen terminal, metered power distribution, environmental sensors, electronic locking and network connectivity turn the rack into something you can watch and control from anywhere — configured on any of our JS, JE or JA cabinet bodies.

The intelligence layer
Six building blocks, one managed rack
HMI touchscreen terminal
A front-mounted human-machine interface shows live power, temperature and humidity, displays alarms, and lets an operator set thresholds and control outlets at the rack.
Smart PDU (metered & switched)
The SPDU meters current, voltage, power, energy and frequency, and can switch each outlet on or off individually — locally or over the network — with per-outlet overload alarms.
Environmental monitoring
Temperature and humidity sensors track the cabinet climate; the system can drive fans and raise alarms before conditions affect equipment.
Electronic access control
A digital door lock with access control, plus optional smoke and door-intrusion detection, secures and logs who opens the cabinet and when.
Remote management
Monitor and control over LAN or WAN via Ethernet and RS485; remote firmware upgrade, local debugging, and buzzer plus email/SMS alarms keep you informed off-site.
Alarms & safety
Overload, over-temperature, high-humidity, smoke and unauthorized-access events raise local buzzer alarms and remote notifications, with thresholds you set from the HMI.
